Title: Full Moon Kiss Size 20x30 Photograph on metal with a 1/2” float mount. Location: Joshua Tree National Park This is photographed by local photographer Paul Morehead. The sunrise assignment for the class provided through the Desert Institute, was to photograph the setting full moon. Scanning the ridge, I noticed a notch at the summit and wondered if I could “catch” the moon as it nested into the small void. While shifting the tripod repeatedly as the moon approached, the rising sun cast a shadow from the mountain behind us on the foreground and Joshua Tree. A thin film of clouds on the Eastern horizon turned the granite wall to nugget. Photographed at sunrise with light clouds on the Eastern horizon with a full frame digital camera and 24-70mm 1.28 lens.
